Very nice i do like the preludes very much :)

Is it quicker than the na?? it would be close?

my mate in work has one of them on 160,000 miles, he drives like he stole it everywhere he goes, always breaks things like suspension, and brakes etc.... (which is expected of any car if you drive it like a loon)but the engine still sounds sweet though, absoloute bomb proof.

Thanks all, its Marc's car really but its our family vehicle so it already has the Natasha seal of approval :sweatdrop:

Car Mad - its stiall a fair few horses off my n/a Zed, think the Lude is about 190bhp standard. With any luck we'll be able to test which one is fastest this weekend tho ;o) he he he

WOW. My all time favourate car (except for my Z now of course)

Had 4 of these in the past and to be honest i can't fault any of them. If my Z was to go the distance i'd definately have another. Awesome cars :)

Peter

Nice looking thing! I like these just always had a slating from people when ive mentioned having on about saying they are an old mans car, but so is the zed so god knows lol. I thought those Lude 2.2 vti's were well over 200bhp? I think my money would be on the zing pop honda to win a straight line drag tbh!

Here's the stats just in case you were in any doubt that the Zed has more power and horses - as for the straight line drag, hopefully get back to you on that one :shifty::thumbup:

Think the one we have is 185bhp - will prob mod it over the winter tho

I LOVE the VTec, its awesome!

Pete, I knew you said you'd have 4 before, can we pick your brain about ludes sometimes please? Got lots of questions!!

Ahh! I was thinking of the Type S or SIR one that was 217bhp, cool 185 will still shift though! With less weight it'll all be down to the driver... so are you a better driver than your other half?! ;) LOL

Vodkashots can do math

Used to have a right wee beast of a prelude (Was the earlier bb4 version). Pushing 230bhp and, for a honda, was a very torquey rocket. Plenty quicker than any of the Type R's (had a crack against the whole family). Had no problems playing around with scoobs! But the later preludes have it over the early models looks-wise. Check out some of the Type S's for styling tips, some look drop dead gorgeous! Good choice in car Janus!!

See, I actually prefer the look of the Gen4 ludes, always have, but I have really softened to the Gen5, esp the rear end, which is sexy as fook! Love it - had a good drive out in it earlier, hadn't VTec'd it til then - Marc said my grin was mahoosive! What a fun car! 4 seats too so we finally have a family car again. Sweet

cheers Pete, fancy a meet up soon? Will bring the lude and get your expert opinion - and I so want to see your KITT!!!! gutted we missed it at Ikea!

Before my ex went off with it, i did have the gen before that in 2.2 vtec form and it went and handled brilliantly. Love it when the VTEC kicks in :hyper:

I did think about buying another at some point as a day to day car but they're a little bit thirsty on the old juice for the mileage i do but what a cracking buy you've got there :D
