Hi, I have a set of fx-r bixenon projectors wich I want to put in my headlights replacing the stock halogen projector.

So I've been doing some research and come across the HID light mod in the faq area: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117007

It describes a nissan blue relay, and from the photo in the how-to document it looks just like a regular spst relay with a normally open contact? Like the ones you use to wire up auxiliary lights f.ex.

No need to buy a new nissan relay if I can use a relay I alreay have lying about in my garage...

If you use the original Nissan Blue relay you can, if you want to, fit it in the spare space within the engine bay relay box!

That FAQ has been translated from Japanese, as that is where it originated from, I assume that the original author preferred to keep things OEM.

good point, but I think I have one that is about the same size. We'll se what I'll do.

This guide applies to lhd vehicles to right?

well the relay box is in the same place I see, only difference is the location of the light switch pod but I reckon the wiring is the same though.
