Don't think so, but they will drip annoying goops of silicon on your garage floor and is an almost certain MOT failure.

Hi Mark,I have rosejointed tension rods on mine and can highly recommend them. They last much longer than the standard ones and are cheaper in the long run £225 cheerZ.

Mark,

I would think carefully about leaving the bushes for too long, the handling will deteriorate, very slowly, and the slight change in geometry, might, cause accelerated wear on the tyres.

If you don't want to fork out the £100+ per side for Nissan OE replacements.

or

£200+ for rose jointed bars.

I would sugest that you go for uprated replacement poly bushes, these are a direct replacement for the silicon fluid items, they are an easy DIY fit, if you have a drill, vice and a hacksaw. I have written on this before, have a search on the forum.

The cost for 2 bushes, delivered to a UK address: £50.54.

SGP Racing in the US do fully adjustable tension rods (castor adjustment) for less than $200.
