Anyone ever replaced the bearings on the alternator mine are starting to grumble.??

 

Also recently replaced the water pump with a genuine nissan replacement only covered about 1100 miles, taken my alternator off and bugger me if there's not a bit of play again on the water pump shaft?? Anyone know WTF going on there??? And no I didn't over-tighten the drive belt.

Looking at my fan seems OK albeit stiff to rotate?

If anyone can shed any light on this I would be grateful cheerZZZZ Chappies....
