does anyone know the answer to this pleeeeeease. i have recently fitted a zenon rear bumper to my car (without the new exhausts fitted) now the problem, the 4" exhausts fit through the bumper (when not on the car) but when the bumper is on the car it looks like i will have to cut away at part of the vallance. thats iff the exhausts poke out the holes in the bumper, is the bumper and exhausts made inline with each other to fit or are they going to poke out somewhere else, im dammed if i know, help appreciated, thanks in advance.:batman:

You might have to bend the hangers a tad to get it to move over, you might have already tried this, but fit the back box first, get it through the hole and see where it leaves you with the hangers, then fit the X pipe. HTH.

If i had more time John i would come over and give you a hand, but working away the next 4 days, only leaves me 3 left to paint the car before JAE lol.

Free in a couple of weeks, might pop over anyway, see how you are getting on.

yeah mate you can pop over in a couple of weeks, ring first tho mate because my baby is due and anything could be happening, did you have to chop the valance to get the exhausts on? did you have that zenon bumper and them exhausts on at the same time?

with the bumper on the car instead of having a 4inch hole i can see the valance behind the hole where the exhaust goes in so i cant even put the exhaust on, unless its meant to poke out somewhere else and the holes in the bumper do not line up with them exhausts? i will faf it out, get the grinder out and chop that valance a bit and try and poke them through and hang them up

haven't seen your bumper mate, but as said, would try and bend or fabricate new hangers first, choppin ya valance/bumper is summet ya can go back on, failing that, have a :duffer: and :smash: it :)

No mate i never fitted the bumper, it was part of a package of parts i got together, so just sat in the garden, till you had it lol.

Do you mean the valance of the car or the bumper?

You wont have much room to manouvre as the fuel tank will be in the way, will have look at a few that have been done and see if i can see a way.

Is yor Zenon bumper the same as the last pic in my profile, if so then I was told by Luke that his exhaust systems that he sells are the only ones that will fit "off the self" on this style of bumper. So it looks like you may have some "tinkering" to do.

FYI the pipes that poke out of my valance are sleeve's that are clamped on to the rest of the rear system, so easy to remove when in need of a polish
