Hi guys, I`ve been speaking with a few of our members and started this thread so we can all add some ideas/ times to organise a convoy to Jae!!!!

 

I will start what I would like to do and we can go from there.

 

I will be leaving Southport about 9am Saturday 11th September , travelling south, M58, M6, and into JAE Kettering approx 11.30am

 

So will be hitting Stoke about 10am ish, Birmingham, 10.40 ish, so we could stop at the services and meet up???

 

I`m camping for 1 night and heading back Sunday morning

 

Hope we can get this sorted, should be great!!!

Have you decided yet Quavey? we could meet you on the M6 somewhere!!or you could always call at my house first? A few of my mates are just going for the day, so will be heading back in the evening, so if you wernt bothered about camping then you could convoy back?

Ok, Less than a week to go!!!! :clap:

 

So far we have a few in the convoy and its looking like I will be leaving my house approx 10am,(hopefully with Isaac in convoy!!) getting to PhilP`s house at 10.02 :laugh: heading M57, M62, M6, 1st services are Lymm, so would Andy and Quavey(not heard from him yet)?? like to meet us there?? then head down to Kettering to arrive approx 1pm after a few stops on the way if we need to, I assume that PhilP will need to stop about 17 times to refill the GTR :lol: and Andy will need to stop about 12 times to empty his bladder as he is getting old now :lol:

 

So add your thought lads and if anyone else wants to join the convoy please do:thumbup1:

Yes mate, I thought there was no point rushing in the morning and it suited you better, so meet you at 10.45 at Lymm service`s, or a little later if you want?? I hope this is ok with Phil, I`m sure he will see this thread when he logs on, I have your mobile number and will phone you in the morning when we leave just to make sure we are all on time :wink:

Hmm Its a possibility i might be joining you. I have an MOT booked at 8:30 - an hour thats 9:30 and its an hour to lymm so thats technically possible although it depends on how the car does at its MOT, not actually due till the end of september BUT if it fails it might need money so cost issues... And also depends if han is working (i.e if she is I can go, but if she isnt then i better hadnt... lol)

 

Sorry for not giving an answer but if you see me there it means im coming and if you dont it means im not ;) Plus shell would really rape me for that trip! :o

Thats why i`m not going in my TT , The GTR would have run out of fuel before having a sniff of my rear end:laugh: and Andy`s little shortie would exploded in a cloud of smoke trying to catch up:laugh:

Han still hasnt asked when and if she is working so im not sure. Not sure if I can be bothered to camp though. hmmm My tent hasnt been used for years and years. More preperation required... argh being away for the next week isnt helpful!

Tis a long way to go and campings not my scene really but was good last year and was nice to put faces to names and have a good banter over the cars:yes:

Sorry guys it just aint happening for me at all! I can't get anyone to cover my job in the affy and i have been offered a job in the morning that is too good to pass on financially at the moment.
