fairweather cyclist.......................:punk::tt2:

I just don’t use mine anymore shame as its a nice bike, each time i put pressure on the pedals though they slip forward badly!! :(

My mate found a rusty old BMX when walking the dog near the river and said he didn't want it, I took it and cleaned it all up and now its worth over a hundred quid lol. Its not too nice to ride though as there's no brakes!

i never had brakes on my bikes as a kid lol, used to stick my foot on the back wheel and stop it that way, used to always have grooves in my trainers lol

I tried it but it hurt my foot lol... went on a 2 mile ride a few months back.. 2 miles feels further with one gear

i only had 1 gear (about 15th i think lol) on my bike for weeks, glad its fixed now though

my bike was a hybrid, me and my mate used to go to the tip and get loads of old bikes to make one decent one, actually working on my bike today brought back some great memories, it was very nostalgic lol

Fairplay Alan, it's a very addictive and expensive hobby!

After around 6months you'll start getting the fitness together, then

you can start enjoying yourself and not worrying about hills etc..

I used to dread any sort of incline when i first started, now most

of them aren't even hills anymore, just a necessary evil... every uphill

brings a downhill..:cool3:

I ride around 3-4 times a week, usually 20-25 mile loops around

the ridgeway, theres a gang of us go out late at night with big lights...

Thats a different world altogether, downhilling in the dark through the trees

is something everyone should try!

Sounds good to me, the wildcat i had was a mint bike, little lcd screen that made noises, mag wheels and other things attatched, never see them anymore though not even one on e-bay :(

If any of you are after some bike lights, have a look at these..

Mine were delivered today, well worth the money. Anything with this

sort of power would be £40+ in this country.

Been out for a ride tonight to test it out, and while it isn't really upto

off roading, it'll be ok for gentle trails etc, perfect for the road.

The rear light is pretty bright too.
