Z dealers...

Keep seeing "Ram City Motor Company" in Derby and "Stanleys Motors" in Brum in the autotrader. They've got a few Zeds each, has anyone viewed any of them or had any dealing with these dealers!?

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for my zed, the wife got in 1st and bought a Ka frown.gif

Cheers

Pete

I've heard of Stanleys from when I was looking into buying a Toyota Sera - one of the guys on the Yahoo UK owners' club bought a Sera from them and got messed about quite a bit.

Firstly, there was some kind of confusion when he came to pick the car up, then they didn't give him all the documentation (or, possibly, any of it... although it was a bit strange for the buyer to accept it that way), and there was *alot* of messing around trying to get them to send him it.

On top of which, I think there were some problems with the car - things that should have been done for the MOT weren't done properly, the tyre pressures were completely wrong, etc etc...

My impression of Stanleys is that they'd be OK if you knew what you were buying, and if mothered them through the whole selling process (made sure you had the documents, made sure they'd done the work they said they would), but they don't seem a very classy operation. Still, they're fairly cheap, aren't they? So I guess you get what you pay for...
