Hi everyone, at last i have yet another quick car, its not a zed but its just what I was looking for, its quick, smooth, handles lovely, not bad on fuel and has four doors, can anyone guess what it is?

I'm loving that mate, I reckon that was the nicest 3 series shape , that and the original box stylee, all the rest since just dont have the character i look for in a car.

Cheapest on autotrader is £8400 or so... Are you sure its an E46 M3 he has for sale?! Or is it an E36 Evo like I had? (Or even a normal E46... that might be 6k easy!)

 

Nice btw, the 3.0 engine is apparently stronger than the 3.2 but I had no problems with mine :) Amazing performance and relative economy I have to say. The saloons are meant to be the best handling ones as well as the shell is apparently stiffer than the Coupes (and obviously the convertible wobbles around all over the place). Not sure if you knew but the convertible did come with a factory fit cross/x brace under the floor pan. Its a direct fit to other models in the range so worth buying if you want to firm it up even more!

Its got aftermarket shocks and 245 rear tyres, handles very nicely and feels quite firm anyway, also had new bush's all round, may be worth doing if I was going to track it.

The e36 is so much nicer than the e46, you got a lovely car there mate.

Cheers, would love to own another zed as its the best looking car of all time ( i think anyway) but at the moment the m3 is cheaper to run and more practical.

It is a M3 E46, Nout wrong with it, ill ask if its ok to get some pictures of it. he has never charged a lot when selling a car, think he just wants the space back to be honest rather than trying to sell it for face value.

 

Bought a pug 406 2liter turbo exec off him for £150 and that thing ran with out a hitch for the 2 years i owned it. wish i never sold that car as it was so reliable and comfortable.
