Just found these old pictures on my computer so thought I'd share them!

The place is called Nettleham Hall and its just outside Lincoln.

Its in the middle of the woods and not many people know about it - it just suddenly looms above you as it appears from nowhere :tt1:

The place has been ripped apart by nature but the frame still stands proud, its a pretty weird place with underground and shit.

Heres a pic I took:

certainly do mate!

Theres an old well under the place too in one of the rooms, it had a long branch (2 metres) sticking out of it that someone had jammed in, I lifted it up and dropped it - must have taken 3 or 4 seconds to reach the bottom  maybe full of treasure lol

thats the privvy mate it will be full of something but pretty sure it ain't treasure!! lol

If I can weave it through half a mile of trees and get through the entrance door on 2 wheels then I'll get some snaps! otherwise I'll have to wait for Daz to see it and load up photoshop! ;)

Their maid needs to get a grip of those pot plants!

Its pretty bad though isn't it, I mean it must have been a lovely house, maybe it was too expensive to fix at the time so was left?

Thats pretty cool, bet that old ruin has some stories to tell.

Real shame these places are left to rot away.

It won't be long before the local councils will be demolishing

places like this due to their dumbass health & safety policies.

They're probably still sending council tax bills there anyway...

Things like this always set my mind going in circles - part of me wishes it could have been kept and not let go to ruin, but then if it wasn't ruined it wouldn't be at all interesting, just another house!
