All set to fit my Apexi on a N/A auto, and am confused as to what to do with the original pipework.

I was all set to cap the pipework on either side where it used to fit into the air box, but upon investigation it looks like there is a branch off of these intake pipes that goes directly into the pipework AFTER the airbox.

As I see this, it appears that fresh, unfiltered air is by-passing the airfilter.

Is this correct or am I just have a blonde day (or week?).

Anyway's, what the heck should I do with the original pipework if anything?

You can either leave it as is and just fit the new cone filter onto the maf or there is a write up somewhere to remove it all, i will try and find it and post it up

It just bolts onto the MAF in place of the original Airbox. There are no pipes to deal with or capping involved.

The ducts to the side, just go from original airbox to the inner wings and nothing else.
