water temp sender

i have a bit of an uneven idle on the old girl at the moment . have been advised that it could be a faulty water temp sender / connecter .

if there is a fault in this area can the senders be tested with a voltmeter . does anybody know what the voltage range is on these as the temperature rises .

    nice 1 jeff . im not sure whether im around saturday . ive got a busy 1 planned . been trying to get through loads of jobs on the z lately . mostly cosmetic but need to get the girl running nice over the next couple of weeks as im taking her on a nice long run to the coast . i,ll give you a call over the next week or so and bring her over .
