Hi all

As some of you know I've been selling off bits of my track spec zed. Well it would appear that someone wanted it all but didn't want to pay!!!!!

Early hours of sunday morning I had my turbos, brakes and wheels/tyres nicked.

It's all quite rare/disctinctive stuff so if you're offered it or see it for sale anywhere please let me know as many details as you can.

Appreciate your help. Details are:

2x HKS GT2530 Turbos with HKS Actuators

Like new condition

Greddy 356mm 6 Pot Brake Kit

These are seriosuly rare and v distinctive with their Gold calipers. Again, v good condition. No damage, some corrosion on the braided hoses, still got stickers on the calipers.

Finally a set of 18" Rota Grid Drift in Bronze

These are a very rare size as my zed was wide arched so if offered as a set should stick out liek a sore thumb. In V good nic, NO kerb rash at all, BUT do have white patches on the spokes and rims where the straps rubbed them on the trailer so very disctinctive damage - you wouldn't get this with road car wheels. (no pics of marks I'm afraid). Sizes are:

2 18x9.5 ET20 offset 5x114

2 18x10 ET15 offset 5x114

They were fitted with well worn Toyo 888s and one look at these would show track use not road - they've seen serious heat and it's obvious.

So Guys, if you see, hear of, or are offered any of the above then PLEASE let me know as much detail as possible. This is expensive kit and I was relying on it's sale to fund my new build.

and MODS, if there's a better place for this thread and/or you could update my for sale threads with STOLEN then all help much appreciated.

Cheers

gutted for you :(

I've posted on a few forums round here, we've got all sorts of cars so most of the avenues are covered.

As sad as it seems, chances are someone has collected some bits off you and knows you have more bits, then told a dodgy mate where you was and they were stolen to order. :(

Hmmmmm, I did think that about my recent break in at my lock-up!!!

Hope you get all you stuff back mate, I have never heard/seen anything of my stuff :mad2:

Yeah cheers for the support guys, appreciate you all keeping your eyes open for me.

Dazvert - I agree mate, I'm not holding out much hope, but then the brakes at least are pretty distinctive and so if enough people know they're nicked they may crop up on a forum, gumtree etc so you gotta try eh?

Did anything ever come of all this? I've only just joined the forum as only just bought our Zed. It does have uprated turbos, brakes and alloys, but none of them match your stuff thank god. I had to sell every last bit of my old R32 GTR a few years back and I'm now very grateful that no one saw what was there and then had things "stolen to order" as was suggested earlier because it was all done on one of my best mates driveways/garages.

Really hope you got your stuff back mate, some people just don't understand that they are hurting others when they do things like this. It's like the car thief excuse "It's all insured anyway", they don't think about things like Excess, love for the car or inconvenience caused by the loss of your vehicle etc, they just think about themselves.

A friend of ours had a mint show condition GTO until a few months back, when a bunch of theives broke into his house to get the keys and steal it to order, only to find once in the garage, that the engine was out for a rebuild and it couldn't be stolen, so instead of just leaving it, they did so much damage to it, that it was written off completely. He was devastated.

I like the idea of force feeding them vindaloo and surgically sealing their arses, and I think my mate would volunteer to do the stitching. Sincerely hope you get something back at least.

Another guy 'RETRODAN' had his rims stolen and they later turned up on ebay.

A guy had bought them and was then advised that they were stolen and belonged to 'RETRODAN', so the guy offered them back.

They had been bought from the town near to where they were stolen from.

Lol, that was me! I never posted on the DW thread 'cos it seemed they all wanted to come and bum me for being so nice and returning the wheels lol. I lost a fair bit of money returning them but it felt right. Dan gave me a couple of new Federal RS-R tyres as grattitude which was nice. Unfortunately I lived at the other end of the country to the guy I bought them from so I couldn't go and kick my money back out of him.

Hope your stuff end up in the hands of an honest person and they see this thread too.
