Is it just me or did anyone else feel sad when they visited the defunct TVR and Jensen Factories, how sad was it seeing them like that. They remain as tragic memories of what was once some of Britains greatest car makers.Crying shame i reckon.Just looking around those buildings seeing old posters etc left by workers and now how they stand as empty shells, tributes to what they once were.Very poignant.

No mate, not just you. Know exactly what you mean.

Absolute crying shame and behind the jokes a very serious point to todays show not just about the British car industry, but British industry full stop. Its nearly none existant.:(

Got to be honest - I never really liked them back then! LOL! :x:

Most were rubbish to drive, broke down contantly, poor quality etc etc! But hey - at least they were British eh?! :blushing:

All very true, that probaly summed up the Britishness of them in one sentence. But as you said at least they were British.Tvr and Jensen were reknown for producing high output cars,Tvr more so but the Jensen was a legend in its day,the interceptor for instance,7.2 litre V8.the numbers say it all.Tvr were best known for producing high powered 8 0r 6 cylinder cars that were lethal on the limit and really flew the flag for the uk in the high power car markets.Lets remember folks Lambos and ferrari,s are just as tempermental and anyone thats owned one would agree.

yeah it was a shame and i think the guys put it over really well - especially when they showed the defunct factory full of gleaming cars  a great episode, but why does TG only last a handful of episodes and then disappear again?!
