July 25, 201015 yr Done a few sets, you're going to have to appreciate the fact that if you're doing a rattlecan job they aren't going to be flawless, but you can do a pretty good job by taking your time. Use nitromors repeatedly to remove any paint. Then key the surface using a very very fine wet sandpaper. From there on any primer/paint will really to the job to be honest! Just do quite a few coats and use a hard wearing lacquer.
July 25, 201015 yr Author CJeers mate, I should also add I am on the borrow for a set of wheels to fit and use fie maybe a week as this is my daily car, so if theirs anyone in or close to Swindon that can help it would be a big favor ???
July 25, 201015 yr Mate i have done this and takes ages, mine came out ok but not good enough IMO so mine are off to the power coaters. Also us loads of lacquer the paint can come off easy.
