I'm in the process of stripping a spare Zed and we have taken off the engine from the mounts seperated the gearbox amd removed some subframe bits below the engine but it still wont come out . :confused1:

it has dropped about six ins but for the life of me I cant see a reason why it wont come out. Is there a secret bolt or something

Is there something we missed as its starting to annoy me now . :censored:

Have you removed the heater hoses, powers steering hoses, AC lines, cabling?

Must have missed something or a pipe I thought I got them all !!!! will have to invest in an angle grinder lol

The subframe has to be unbolted from the chassis and dropped so that it disconnects from the steering column after obviously undoing the knuckle joint and removing the bolt. This then allows the engine to come forward and off the gearbox spigot.
