Can anyonbe give me some tips, my son has just got an I-pod touch and some guidance would be fine, I have about 60 gig of music on my pc as mp3 format, can they be put on the ipod without changing format etc.

Yes they can, but has to be done the the Itunes manager, which if you havent got it is free, do a search on google and you will be able to download it.

Cheers for the reply, I have dl'ded the manager, and even put some music on it, my son will soon be showing me what to do lol. Amazing little thing, got it connected to i-tunes and the wee man is dl some free games, might get one myself.

That's the only problem with apple products. Ipod, Iphone etc. You have to use iTunes.

 

I would much rather be able to drag and drop onto my phone instead of having to use crappy iTunes :(

I use WinAmp to transfer songs to my regular Ipod (not the I-touchy one).

 

Works well & I'm not subservient to Apple :D

is this not the same for most phones? i have had SE and samsung phones and have always had to use there own software which in most cases has ben crap and most i my phone i have had so much trouble in my pc finding them

I used to love winamp, but wouldnt work with vista :no: mind you i havent looked in a year so might have updated it, hopefully.
