Damn that's ugly! Did Stevie Wonder choose the red detailing inside to match the....oh wait..... nothing else on the rest of the car.

Lovely car but what's with the red inside? Surely the red should be grey for this car? When the car was launched, it was red inside but then the outside was also red! I hope they don't **** this up due to something so simple and stupid!

You can choose the colour as far as I am aware, will know more next week after training! lol

undecided on the juke.. nissan are making some quirky little things.. I saw a Leaf I think it was called.. it was a tiny little kei car almost..

Lovely car

When did you last go to spec-savers mate?

It's one of those cars you'll definitely find in one of those 'Ugliest cars' books in years to come!

It's a real shame we don't get some of the North American or Japanese Nissans. I know there's not the market for them, but I had one of these when I was over in the States last month. Nissan Altima Coupe.

The new Maxima is pretty nice looking too for a saloon car.

As with everything, its subjective. I think the Juke is nice, its bold.

I agree with you on the Altima, but my god that truck is a shockingly bad looking thing, i'd prefer a tricked out Sprinter Van to that.

id love to have one of the trucks defo dont like the juke though cars like that that give people a bad impression of nissan in my opinion

Subjective, but that Titan is cracking! Better than the hideously angular and disproportionate Joke..sorry, Juke. ;)

The Navara...sorry Titan is only cracking if your in the construction industry and need to haul bricks and motar around or if you are in the gardening industry to move plants around etc. Or you just like driving around in a commercial vehicle with big wings and side skirts

Titan is twice the size of the Navara! The two use completely different chassis, engines, drivetrains everything. The Titan has a 5.6 V8...your ugly little dishwasher has a......4 cylinder diesel. :wack: ;)

Actually, I tell a lie. They both use a version of the F-platform, but that's about as far as it goes. :)

The LWB Titan is 6.2m long and the Navara is a metre short of that and theres only about 20cm difference in width so that sentence is void. Also they deffo nicked the front grille from the Navara / Pathfinder LOL.

Also the Juke does have a diesel unit yes, but the one I posted has a 190ps 1.6 Turbo Petrol Engine.

I aint impressed by that V8 engine either, 320 bhp from an engine that size is majestic fail. Torque figures are decent but by the time that thing gets going you'll need an on board fuel station next to the redneck gattling gun in the back

That sentence was sarcasm ;). 1 meter is quite a lot of length!

As for the VK56, they are detuned. A remap pushes it over 400bhp with nearly 500lbs ft of torque. Plus they sound excellent!

I'm quite liking the facelifted Qashqai and I love the older Murano....but the rest of the Nissan range, apart from the 370 and GT-R leave me completely and utterly disinterested. The Pixo and Note just look like geriatric Malaysian shopping carts, the Micra looks like a frog that's taken more steroids than Raoul Moat and I've already look at the Joke...and looked away again very quickly.

There are only so many crossovers/ugly shopping cars you can take from one manufacturer. It's a shame they are all from Nissan.

Ever remember this funny little thing? This was fun. The Pivo2. If you search youtube, there are other videos of it with its funny little robot in it. Reminds me almost of a Jonnycab! LOL

i love the front end of the mazda in that video...........the back well em..aeeeeeeee!!

I think it looks disscusting. Its reminds me some how of the micra from the front with 370 rear lights. roof line /windows look all fooked up :lol:

It looks :xxx::xxx:

But what about the Nissan Cube! You've all forgotten about the postman pat van!

The Juke in the flesh did look nice, and as for the red interior parts you can change them with silver, grey or black. I think it looks nicer in some colours than others.

The 1.6 DiG-T 190bhp engine is pretty sweet IMO and in a car of this size. The 4WD version of the 1.6 DiG-T is running the same 4WD setup as what Porsche are using on there 4x4's so it's pretty awesome. KW - 140/BHP - 190/Nm - 240

Let's just say the opinions on the Juke are divided and leave it there...we're not going to agree either way.

Si did however hit on a point that has been close to me for the last 20 years! Why do Nissan refuse to import some of their best cars to the UK? Their sales/marketing/strategic team are an absolute disaster and have been for at least the last 2-3 decades.

The only reason the GT-R is in the UK is because people started to personally import the R32 and then R33. If it was down to Nissan, it would have remained in Japan.

The only decent cars we have ever had in the UK have been the Z32 and later incarnations, 200SX (1st generation) and R34/R35.

I was very surprised when Nissan made the CORRECT decision to bring the Murano here.

Nissan has some great mid-range cars, like the Altima, which should be sold in the UK. Far superior than any Primera, and probably much better than most other cars in the same class.

Similarly, not launching Infiniti in 1990 in Europe was also a huge mistake. The Q45 was a great car at the time. Toyota did not make the same mistake and now Lexus is a well established and respected brand. Still, better late than never...will they ever learn?

Alas, I believe the marketing department have actually done a decent job; the UK market just is not the market that you or I or most people on this forum aspire to. The Qashqai for instance has been a huge hit and has done wonders for sales since the Primera and Almera were discontinued. Neither the Primera or Almera were all that successful in the later years of production, the Primera especially. Both cars were extremely dull.

For example, a similar model to the Qashaqi is sold in the states. It's called the 'Rogue'. It's not been a hit over there. The markets are just very different. The Pathfinder sells very strongly, as does the Altima which is a Camry rival (best selling car in North America).

The Micra as ugly as it is has been reasonable sales success and the Note hasn't done too badly either. It's just a shame that these cars are either ugly or dull.

There is nothing in the mid range sector, nissan UK do not actually have a family 'car' what so ever. It's either superminis or cross-overs, both of which have a very competative market sector.

The market in the UK currently dictates a bias toward super minis and cross-overs. The Primera was a fleet/family car that never sold well and they are unlikely to replace in the near future with either the Altima or Maxima.

I think maybe the Altima Coupe would do ok. There is a market for cheaper small stylish FWD coupes and would be a nice alternative for people that couldn't afford the 370Z.

I am actually quite surprised that they supply the Murano over here. It never sold well. It's a nice car though, but I don't really see a future in this car in Europe like the Qashqai, or even the ugly little Juke. The Juke will probably sell well as cross-overs are doing well at the moment and makes for a cheap alternative to the Qashqai (which I like) and that's a great rival to the revolting and overpriced 'punched in the face' BMW X1.

I suppose part of the problem is that the UK market is tiny, so much paperwork for the more interesting cars that its just not worth bringing them here. Look what killed the 300zx, generally the expense of making a handful suitable for eurpe, both LHD and RHD and then bringing them here and then trying to sell them into a market where people know nissan for things like the micra, note, pixo that kind of rubbish. So then if people do want a nice looking car, they wouldnt think of nissan...

Pugeot have been very brave with the RCZ, its a fantastic looking thing (although a bit dear if im honest! I know they start at 20k but the 200bhp one is £25.5k... now a base model TT is only £26.5k - i know which I would spend that money on)

I do feel that if Nissan were to bring a "cheap" coupe of that sort of class here then it would be as expensive as the more premium brands. Problem that they have as well is that the 370z tends to cover all bases. Its slap bang in the middle of the TT range. It starts at around 29k ish which is top TT coupe money, moving into TTS range (although they start from 34 or so) Of course the 370z only has one engine choice which does limit the range quite a bit. I think this is where they go wrong. Using one model that sits in the middle it doesnt really satisfy either end of the market. So it would have to be 18-20k cheap but could they bring an altima coupe here for that?
