quite common, small water pipe bit of a pig to get to but can be done, not too bad if plenums off although have managed to access from underneath before with long nose plyers. have a look for rear engine pics, it`s the one that hooks up to the passenger turbo.

I've just remembered that ive got the same problem. DOH!

Oh well, best get the new pipes ordered. :(

any one know where i can get a new one and how much

if its the same hose as mine thats leaking which is sounds like then you just need some 8mm ID hose. You can buy it in metre lengths on ebay which is plenty. But I would recomend you do the plenum water bypass.

Take it for a spin and wath the temp gauge. Look for the water leak when you turn off the engine. Most likley it's the hose that goes to the turbo that's leaking.

just got back from work and was making a large ploom of steam all the way home eny one managed to change it with out a plenum pull

Can you get your hands down the back? Even with plenum off its tight. You cant get a pair of pliers down there. I had to wrap a chain around the hose and yank it out.

Put some soap on your arm.

I did my pipe in about half hour with the plenum on. Easy with pliers with a 90 bend and a 45 bend

you can get the pipes of mike for around £20 iirc

i have the battery of and still can see where the dam thing is leaking argghhhhhhhhh so many things in the way

i think it mite be the one under the heater pipe return just because its the only one i can not see

Just do the plenum bypass bud , it,s fiddly but do-able without removing the plenum and it,ll stop all those niggly leaks in and around the plenum , you can get 8mm bore pipe from any good motor factors at about £5 a metre and you,ll need 2 metres and 6 new jubilee clips , take the battery out to do the N/S and prepare to lose a bit of skin to do the O/S but theres really only the one pipe on the O/S to do as one of them is metal with a small curved rubber pipe where it joins the turbo water pipe.
