Yep, afraid so. My credit card company rang and asked If I had paid £1 to a client. I said no. apparently it was a test buy to see if card was still active. So not lost anything much but had to destry card.

I will get the money back hopefully after they will investigate... this is what happened last time... but I did not need all this!:censored:

we had out credit card skimmed by a pound, the credit card company phoned us up to check up on it and it turned out to be the same.

Never use a debit card, you have zero protection. At least with a credit card you have a third party which is responsible for the payments.

i have a debit card that was cloned! i got all my money back , it was being used in canada!!!!!

....I have had my company Barclaycard cloned twice now. Coincidentally each time was after using it in an Indian restaurant; with a couple of transactions in India showing up in the next couple of days.

 

As above, first it's a small amount (£5 or so) and then I get the call from Barclaycard so I have to cancel it and wait for another.....:sneaky2:
