me and my bro want to mess around with a car for a track toy/learning curve with boosting cars.....

right i know some will say "dont bother it will only blow up" etc but this is the whole point we want to try stuff on a spare car.

right our idea is to possibly turbocharge a 1.4rt e7j clio. currently 80 bhp.

i think i have calculated the thickness of headgasket required for the optimum 7.9:1 ratio as the old r5 gtt used. now my problem comes with the fuelling aspect of it.

the 1.4 rt engine (e7j) is a single point fuel injection system. now i know the injector will not flow enough fuel to sustain boost so was toying with an idea for a secondary injector.

now my problem lies on how to "switch on this injector" would i need a increasing voltage circuit which comes in at a pre determined voltage off of the lambda sensor (when detecting a lean mixture)

ideally i want to use the injection system but possibly i could convert it to carb like the old r5gtt's were but whats the challenge in that eigh LOL

anybody know about secondary injector circuits who could give me some pointers please

cheers

gaz

Greddy also do the Rebic range for additional injector control.
