Just wondering if anyone else is having any delay getting parts ordered from Mark Brand??

 

I ordered a pair of tie bars from him ages ago (sent the cheque over 6 weeks ago) and still haven't had anything back. I've now asked him to return my money and am waiting for a reply. Cheque was cashed over 5 weeks ago.

 

Does anyone else on the list live in Belfast or know Mark personally??

 

I would like to make it clear that I'm not in the habit of bad mouthing anyone on the web, this is an enquiry brought about by my urgent need to replace my knackered bushes and concern that I've paid for something that I'm not going to get....could have bought 'em ten times over and cheaper by now.

 

Whatever the reason for the delay, I don't think goods should be promised unless they're going to be sent asap.

PS bought some stuff from AndyZ - the complete opposite, got the goods two days after the cheque went out...nice one Andy!

ALL I CAN SAY IS IM GLAD I NEVER SENT THE 700 QUID FOR HIS ALLOYS!

i feel for ya mate as this guy is sounding very dodgy.

i was gonna buy his wheels but as i explained to him that id pick them up in belfast,all of a sudden i stopped hearing from him.

Not condonning in any way Robs treatment here, BUT i have dealt with Mark on a number occassions, some involving cash and some not, also met him at Max power and sorted me out with ringside seat to watch his show, top bloke in that respect, so i can only assume there is a valid reason for his absense at the mo.

I am not dodgy, I have my reasons for the delay, with some peoples goods, and I have been in touch with the people and have now dispatched all outstanding stuff!

 

You have my mobile number, I would like you to call me to arrange the collection of these wheels, that you want. Unless you have changed your mind, which is ok by me!

i do want ur wheels and would be happy to meet you at the end of the month when i can get over there,i have a friend stationed in belfast and i could get him to pick the wheels up for me.

I have sent you £80 for a half propshaft quite a while ago (weeks). So you have had the money in your bank account for weeks! I have heard from you about it being sent to someone else by mistake and you say that it is on its way to me but that was weeks ago and still no propshaft arrives? No I see you saying that you have dispatched all outstanding stuff - my propshaft is no doubt missing believed never to be seen again. So you are not dodgy! But you take money and don't supply the goods? Funny idea! Very amusing! I guess it must be difficult to send packages from Belfast to England, its so far away!!

John, your prop has had to go by Target Worldwide Express, the reason it could not go by the normal route, is that it is far to heavy! This has cost me about £20 more than normal, but that is ok!!

 

I would like to point out that if it were not for poeple like AndyZ and myself and any other people selling parts on this forum at a knocked down price, you would have to go to another breaker or by new from Nissan. Both are going to be more expensive that this way!

 

Go and price a new prop from Nissan, and then you will relise how cheep you are getting the parts. (prob about £1K)

 

I hear your coments about money in my bank for weeks, don`t forget that we have to buy these cars and it might be 1-2 years before we get our money back, if at all!

 

No Belfast and England are not that far away, as you said, so why did you not come over and get it yourself,remember your cheque took 10 days to get to me, so if that is anything to go by, I am not as bad as you make out!!!

 

Remember I did bring the prop over to Max live and that would have been the best time to give it to you, but it did not happen that way!

 

I am not dodgy by the way, I have been selling parts on here for over a year and everyone that has paid, has got their bits!!!

 

Lastly and most importantly, if you have a problem, with me or the way that you have been delt with by me, direct it to me personly, that way we can sort it out between us. Far to much public slagging goes on in this place and it does not do anybody any good in the long run!!!

OK, I hold my hands up, Mark has come up with the goods. Not exactly what I asked for but I'm happy nontheless. Apologies to Mark for doubting his credibility...

 

I was starting to panic hence my post last week - can't afford to be sending off £80 for no return - that's a week's fuel....

Propshaft finally arrived but unfortunately it is no better than my own in fact worse play in it. However as it now gives me a spare I have sent it off for overhaul and balancing which at least keeps me on the road.

Thanks to Mark anyway.
