My mate has just had a feature done on a local car club website, he's owned a Manta for 13 years, and its taken on lots of appearances... Everything he has done to it is DIY, and if he can't buy something for it, he'll make it. Even down to his rear ducktail spoiler. Its been compared to MADMAX on more than one occasion! agree 100% new cars are boring lol one of my dads mates actually has an opel manta in his garage which has been sitting there for i dont how many years (loooong time tho lol) and he decided to start restoring it some time last year. I know its a B reg and had a 2.2 engine but he bought a 2.0 because he wants to restore it to standard form.

My second car was a Manta when i was 18. It was white and the reg had SAD at the end of it, B288 SAD i think maybe. Anyway, really nice looking car although it was just really a cavilier with a bodykit on it.
