Disk Problems

Hi Guys, i have a HDD that causes intermitent problems at boot, its not the C Drive, but a slave disc, most times i have to disable it in the BIOS for me to boot up normally, Id there some utility i can run in Windows to look at the disk when it is disabled ?

    not if you have disabled it at the bios level no.

    just buy a new drive to be honest m8 unless you need the data on it.

     

    can you run any diag tools from the hdd manufacturer on the drive? or does it hang the bios screen?

     

    prehaps try the drive in a usb caddy see if it comes up ok.
