My Mrs is forcing me to change my car as its done a few miles now and she thinks I need a change. Im in love with my 996 turbo and she is a high spec and totally reliable car so I need a new DAILY driver. What would you go for, take into account reliability, poseability, etc. Not sure on colours yet. I used to own a Ferrari and it was a bucket of puss so I am a bit worried about trying Italian again.

If it was for me I would by the R8, drove one just before xmas. Would be a nice car to drive every day

Love them all!!! Lambo 1st, R8 2nd and then the 911.:tt1:

Dont forget the R8 is out with the V10 engine now, the v8 is old hat :tt1:

yes dunno, I like the R8 but its an Audi at the end of the day thats why im asking.

I love the look of the Lambos yet to drive one though. I know what you mean but the Porsches are so bloody reliable and blisteringly fast.

Follow your heart...Lambo.

Mind you, I'd personally go for a Ferrari, but then I've never driven one let alone owned one. Having said that, I applause those who have the heart and good taste to own a Ferrari; true emotion.

The problem with a 911 is that they are as common as Vectras (not that there's anything wrong with a Vectra!)

Save yourself 25 grand and get a nissan R35 GTR! practical, realiable, and probably out run most of them with a little tuning!

lambo for me but would it be practicle for you to drive daily e.t.c?

Porsches are too common

R8's just look like widearch Audi TT'S, although awesome cars.

Second best day in your whole life is when you buy a Ferrari

Best day in your life is when you sell the damn thing lol, like having a trophy wife looks great but is a bitch to live with that raids all your savings until you get rid of her!

Im warming up on the lambos but would only buy a manual one all that egear F1 stuff sucks.

This man speaks the truth!!! Get a GTR :tt2:

I'd have to say, if I was in your position it'd be the Gallardo. I'll be hankering after one probably forever. But the GTR is a good suggestion, or is that a bit too 'normal' ?

Astons are nice, but even round my neck of the woods (not exactly posh) I'll see a handful every week, In fact I saw 3 today. lol

How about an Aston Martin?

Had a mate that sub contracted as a painter there, brown dust coats everywhere, just a posher product built by Rover esque bimbler types.
