I'd be grateful for an honest opinion...

 

I have the opportunity to buy a Z32 which in all respects in perfect...except it's an auto.

 

Always been a manual die-hard, so is an auto Z32 Twin Turbo worth getting? Is it quick enough and is the experience worthwhile?

 

How much better is the manual twin turbo?

 

It would be great to hear from those who have driven both.

Auto's are slower in all areas - 0-60, 0-100, mid range, corner/roundabout exit.....every scenario.

 

I thought from santapod results a standing 1/4 mile in a Stock or lick for like Zed the Autos were consistantly coming out on top?

Had a auto converted to manual and found it made the car run much better.

I realized once i had the conversion done how much i had missed the control you have with gears instead of lots of brakes.

The auto is great if you do lots of town driving and more of a lazy type drive.

I must admit i wouldnt buy a auto again and love my new low mileage manual import car..
