had a bit of fun in my sons car at bhp show, difficult to drive quickly in a drift car with a welded diff but was plenty of fun. only 160bhp so was underpowered compared to the other cars as i went out in the intermediate sessions. was really supprised at how unblelievably grippy the track was in the dry but still managed to clip a metal barrier, my son wasnt happy but its only a dent/scratch/scrape  so all is good.

enjoy :)

why would you weld a diff??

so both wheels would spin giving you more control over a slide

i think lol

Sweet. I thought the car would've been fishtailing it into every corner with a welded diff?

Peter

i was hoping it would, but had grippy tyres on the back and the tyre pressures were not right, if i had set it for drifting i would have lost it on the fast bends, but its a very grippy track,,,,but still fun.

it makes the wheels spin together and then the back steps out,,, then hold it on the power,

do you mean 260bhp i thought s14`s run 200bhp stock

its an N A. if it were a turbo i would have had it sideways all the time, we will probably turbo it next year,

why not make it this year, sooner the better:thumbup1: i had an S13 running 260bhp before my zed. i will always have a soft spot for the 200sx

its all down to the bobs,my zed takes priority, and my son being only just 16 he can't help too much, so it will have to wait, unless something good comes up:sad:
