help! strange noise coming from N/S wheel

Hi, finally just got my zed back on the road after 6months, flew through MOT yesterday and i took it for a drive last night and all was well.

been out in it tonight and theres a strange noise coming from the near side wheel.

the best way i can describe it is that its like a scrape followed by a knock that gets faster as the car speeds up and slows until the car stops.

Ive checked around the wheel for any rubbing and cant see anything a miss.

Ive jacked the car up and spun the wheel and the sound isnt there.

Im completly stuck as to what it could be

any help greatly apreciated

    i gave the wheel a good wiggle while it was jacked up and it seemed very solid had agood look round aswell and couldnt see anything, plus it only had MOT yesterday and has hardly been anywhere since, it seems to have jus come out of the blue.
