Does anyone know of any contact details for the manufacturer of Toad alarms? Mine has gone up the swanny and I'm having a lot of problems with the company that fitted mine giving me the run-around (apparently the lifetime warranty is supposed to be with the company fitting - Although it is the hardware itself which has failed). When I go on trusty Google, it just comes up with links to fitters (albeit using the Toad name!) rather than a manufacturer! And, to boot, I can't find any of the documents that I must have had with the alarm! Doh!!!

Yep -You were fooled too, Dave! That's actually Gap Security - If you Google Clifford Alarms too, it comes up with another link which is them! I was actually so p!ssed off with no-one replying to my emails, I sent my alarm to them anyway - As it even says Toad alarms in their address on that link! Had the call from them today, did a few checks on the web and found out the truth - It's just a marketing tool! Thanks for the try, though :)

I can give you contact details for a company called motorguard they mainly deal with clifford though but may be able to help, i also have the number of a clifford engineer so could pass you his number at a push ;)

yep just checked on Sigmas site http://www.toadplc.com/sigma

Just tried the link and its as much use as a man with no legs in an arse kicking competition. But It proves they are the same company.

Yeah - I hear he was beaten by Zebedee!!! Cheers for that, Jimmer :) I've spoken to Securicar and they were taken over by Scorpion, so have emailed them - If me no-hearsy by tomorrow lunchtime, I'll give 'em a call and see what they've got to say........By the way, the guy that fitted my alarm is based in Bristol - Specialised Vehicle Security - Seemed decent and did a good job for a good price at the time, but clearly there's something lacking/dodgy about him as he's not very forthcoming with his assistance on this one! Might be something to bear in mind for us local boys...........

Was he in a red van with stickers over the side of it? Daryll may know him.

ย

Back in 2008, I'm pretty sure it was a white van with a set of 18's, maybe 19's on. Last year he had a silver td Astra with 19's on - I think there may have been stickers on them, but just the company name (memory a little hazy when it comes to vans and Astras!) His name is Antony Noto - I was wondering if Daryll may know him!
