just watched the first episode last night and cant wait to watch the other two today. was worried that is wasnt going to be able to live up to the expectations after all the talk about it but i loved it. i always find that if you can watch something all the way through without wondering how long it has left then it has been a good watch and thats how i was last ight the 50 odd mins flew in.

anyone else been watching it?

Thought this didn't start until Tonight 9pm???

yeah starts over here tonight came out in america a few weeks back

yeah 3 is not great but I have 4 downloaded to watch tonight!

yeah the action is good but the bonking is crap

Bonking?...i thought this was the the 1940's,,,did they do that sort of stuff?...lol...watched first 2 havent had a chace to watch 3 and 4 yet...

Episode 3 and 4 have both been non starters IMO, dont get me wrong im watching all of them but I dont think it lives up to band of brothers at the moment.

Band of Brothers was great because it had a real true story behind it, outstanding settings and was kinda on the doorstep. The characters were stronger and the action was really well done and most of it was during the day. It really showed the triumphs and horror of war.

The Pacific is all action in the dark, only three main characters and two of the first four episodes are really lacking. Everything looks the same as it is set in the Jungle and I just felt disappointed after watching the last few episodes. Im hoping it will get rapidly better now!!!
