boost gauge is never on -7???

the needle on the boost gauge is always about a centimeter off the -7 mark, maybe at -6/-5 anyone know why and how to remedy?

    It wont show full vacumn (-7) but it should be close, otherwise its a sign of a Vacumn(boost) leak in the system.

     

    However the stock gauge is very inaccurate.
