Good ol' laguna splitters...

Well it was lovely weather today, the mrs was out for the day with her friends so what better to do than spend the day on the driveway LOL :punk:

Most spare time I get usually goes on the Z in one form or another, but I devoted a good chunk of today to my daily driver. Alfa 156 2.0 Veloce, I love it and its uber reliable, but its just a case of get in and drive.

So today I treated it to a wash then some ultra deep shine autoglym polish all over. I then thought I'd fit the splitter I had kicking around in the garage - half hour later it was fitted perfectly and I think it looks a lot better, such a simple modification! Also treated the grille to some satin black paint, what do you reckon?

thanks guys

I wish that was my driveway! its the local airfield, alway go there to photgraph my cars

I use a Nikon D50 Daz, fantastic results every time. The alfa cost me £1100 a year ago and it was the first sensible car I have owned and driven daily. It is great to drive but I never put my foot down - just use it for pootling mainly but it is quite lively being an Italian! :clover:

The Z is only used now and then, but thats for my speed fix - will be used more in the summer and its getting better all the time - I did find time to change my radiator for the uprated one I had in the garage today aswell! :punk:

Nice mate, I`ve just had a look on flea bay as i need a new camera, those cameras take awesome photos but just too big for me, I used to have a Fuji (cant remember) 12mp big size and sold it on flea bay as it was clumbersome, but wished i had kept it now.

Skint at the moment so will have to wait

You can get some decent non-SLR cameras nowadays, that do lots of things that SLRs do (i.e long exposure at night etc). My D50 is only about 6MP but the pics usually do the talking. :tt2:

So miss my alfa I had the V6 one loved it to bits. The engine was the best bit of it.

Great pics. Splitter looks factory.

I have a T-plate 156 2.0 as well, my feelings/experience towards it are very different from yours though !

Thats alfas for you one day the best car in the world, the next day you are pulling your hair out.

I had a 155 V6 with the same engine you posted, sold it to get the 156. Very good engine...surprisingly responsive.

I had a 156, used loads of oil for some reason but didnt smoke and drove like a dream. Typically the oil light didnt work so had to check the oil every-time.
