Just had a dividend payment and looking to spend it on the zeds brakes as mine are currently standard (pants). I don't really want to spend anymore than £700-1k because I would also like an EBC and to have it remapped.

Either/or, pref. second hand to get more bang for my buck.

Thats fronts only though for that price, and they are cheapest Aftermarket brake setup available.

They used to be cheaper ! , when first released everyone was doing Special offers to get them out there as there was a lot of reservation about a budget Taiwanese brake setup. I was offered Dealer wholesale by D2 at one point with a free set for testing purposes.

For the money your looking at your best bet is a set of R33/R34 GTR Brembo's front and rear.

Disagree, I've had good stock brakes, R34's and then ksports.

Ksports are easily better than those, and being new, you don't have to worry about the state of a 2nd hand set of R33/R34's. A lot of people who have gone the skyline have also had to buy new discs not long afterwards so not as cost effective as it may seem.

Yes, perhaps I did'nt make it clear what I meant...............a full K-sport setup is going to be better than a GTR setup, but for a 700 pound budget your looking at Fronts only. Mixing a Massive Ksport front upgrade with stock rears throws the brake balance way off, which is never advisable. Adding rears would nearly double the price.

Hence for the budget your better off with a set of front and rear GTR Brembo's. Better to have a complete brake upgrade, rather than half of one.

I'm running just the fronts and not been a problem, though I don't have ABS.

Will be adding the rears later this year.

Stopping distances would certainly be improved with correct bias from matching rears.

edit : this is assuming that the K-sport front setup creates more torque than the OEM setup !

I have the rears to. cost me about £1800 or there abouts for the complete kit.

Over the oem set up and the big disc conversion (325mm) the ksports are a MASSIVE improvement. much better than the Brembos on the coop i had.

i just dont like the logo on them , looks cheap i guess

From what I have been lead to believe K-Sport, G4 Racing and D2 are all the same company.. It just depends which colour you prefer on your calipers.. as to the best caliper colour, theres a poll in another thread lol..

aparently they supposed to be copies of tar-ox brakes . so if the thaiwaneese engeneers did good job in copying them it all should be fine than .))
