came home from work today to find a card through the door saying the police had been regarding a car accident in december and i had to call them asap which i have done twice still no answers thing is i havent been in any accidents or seen any accidents what the hell is it for!!!!!!

probably a scam. costing you a fortune to ring the number

 

ring your local police station and quote the ref number and ask what its about

Have your neighbours had one posted as well, it could be something that happened locally and they are just canvassing everyone.

they finally got back to me, been to ask the neighbours it was only me who got one. apparently i was a witness to an accident in the town where i live, she says it was in farquar square two cars collided and i gave my name as a witness but i never. All they have is it was a mr campbell and my street name so maybe there is another mr campbell in my street. was worried that my mate had had an accident and given me as a witness as his girlfriend stays where the accident happened but he hadnt so who knows what is going on but i defo never seen any crash

sounds a bit dodge to me mate. dont give any details away about owt.

I would go to the cop show and speak to them face to face that way you know who you are speaking to.I never trust these cards or phones that you get .

it was the police station that i called direct it all seems to be sorted now
