the mistake is its a shite make

he hasn't connected an aerial to it and thinks it's bust, mind you I wouldn't give him £65 if it was brand new :thumbdown:

Hmm.. from what I can work out...just sounds like it doesnt work through a regular tv aerial, which is probably cos of the digital switchover? but he says it doesnt have (digital) freeview on it, which is alarm bells straight away and says it works through scart....which is what digital tv (freeview) is lol.. .. either way it's a very confusing explanation.

I'm trying to work it out now as it's late.. I think he is trying to say;

"It doesn't have digital tv

but it has digital when plugged in through scart" - Which is what a freeview box is... haha arghh i'm tired :-/

spot on ! the reason he cant get tv through the arial is cos of the switch over:oops:, so if he plugs a free view box in via a scart it works lol there is nothing wrong with it...pmsl

Just looked up the digital switchover dates, and its not till 2011 for Nottinghamshire (where the TV is for sale)

don't know, East Anglia switches over in 2011. I haven't watched analogue tv for years.

ours switched over months ago! either way there's nothing really wrong with it...who do u know that watches anologue tv these days?
