Quick question, which extends lower down? the 99 Spec bumper or the 89 spec bumper? Due to the awkward nature of my drive my new car just touches as its being brought into the drive. My old one did with its 89 spec bumper but I wasnt so bothered about that!

 

My question is if I were to revert back to an 89 spec bumper would it solve the issue, or would it make it worse?

i think i know how to resolve this..................lol.

Haha £6k ;) Its not too much of an issue, I can easily fabricate some device to get it in and out of the drive. I think i prefer the 89 bumper if im honest! :s

Lol, yeah thats what I intend to do, its just a proper odd driveway I have. Sadly is on an increasing gradient so the road is level at one side and has perhaps dropped a foot by the other side of the entrance so you end up with an odd situation for the car to cover.

 

My dads 745 screams from the pdc on the front and rear as it leaves the drive lol

99spec is pretty much the highest available bumper. pretty sure it is higher than the 89spec.

doh! Lol will have to give it a try. 'er in doors isnt fond of the 99 either so will have to do some more investigation!

Correct....99spec sits about 1cm higher than the older bumper.
