Well Christmas was very sad this year,June my wife has lost her father Rupert at the age of 83 he sufferd for the last two years with lung cancer and his heart only working 30% yet he kept going living in his own house and with his mobility scooter he still got about determined not to let it beat him.He had his birthday on the 15th december we all went out for a meal and he enjoyed it so much but on the 20th his heart gave up and we buried him on Christmas eve. Rupert an exceptional man much missed by his daughter,grandchildren,relatives friends and me R.I.P.

Very sorry to hear this mate, awful time of the year to lose someone, we lost my grandad at 96 a few years ago to cancer around this time.

My sympathy,s for you all bud , i lost a good friend this time last year , his widow was out with us on xmas eve for a drink , she returned home to find that her late husbands sister had been found dead by her 87 year old mother who lived next door !!

Some familys , especially the nicest ones always seem to suffer the most :hammer:It,s a cruel world at times .
