I was just thinking today how little I drive my car and how much it costs round here , ie Residents` Parking Permit goes up about 9% every year : it`s £132 at the moment :mad2:

So that`s interesting

Does it track your speed also though.

Im willing to bet it does

Does it track your speed also though.

That did occur to me after I`d posted . I can`t see insurance companies ignoring something like that

Tried for a quote but they wont cover my z

They came top of the list for my quote on gocompare earlier that's how I found out about them...I've just tried quoting directly through their site and they say the zed isn't eligible, then I filled it in via gocompare again there just now and it is allowing me to proceed with the purchase.

They are quoting an estimate of £300 with the Co-op using the coverbox based on me saying 3000 miles per year, mostly off peak.

They're breakdown of the cost shows:

7.31p per off peak mile

10.72p per peak mile

£39.00 one off charge to fit coverbox installation

£24.00 theft tracking
