Cant seem to find any cupra r's within arnold clark or reg vardy close by so these are the best ive noticed.

just wondering if anybody who has one has any reviews on them? Good bad points, service intervals and the main thing is just how reliable they are?

Used to have a 2002 c class - plagued with electrical problems, and wouldn't touch one that sort of age again... supposedly sorted out reliability issues on the next generation though. Know 2 people with minis and, although I can't stand them, they've been reliable and, surprisingly to me(!), ok to drive!

Nice one mate, its quite difficult to find a nice mini cooper s with low mileage under 10k.

Do you know what the tuned models of the cooper s are and where to get them?

Not sure if its somethign like AG or something.

I know you get the john works GP with only 2000 ever made but there is another few tuning companies doing them, i just cant find them.lol.

Ok so merc is a no go then.

Both gonna be pretty dull to drive i would imagine mate. Especially the merc, a rather unexciting prospect IMHO.

If i had to choose between the two it would be the Mini tho.

If you have that kinda money to play with i'd certainly be looking at FAST stuff :D

Yeah, just looking at soemthing on finance the now .

Kind of still holding on for the right zed i think.lol. But the cougar is becoming annoying with things that are wrong, so want to get something i would enjoy tinkering about with.

I have owned both and prefer the Merc, the kompressor engine was fairly lively and I never had any reliabilty problems although you could tell the build quality was not as good as it use to be it. The mini was actually my wifes but I did drive it a few times, the suspension was too hard for my liking on an everyday car and there was no boot, just a little glovebox behind the rear seat !!
