i may have the chance of an american bulldog for free, the guy that has it is a cock and the dog is only 5 weeks old, my dad told me as riddick is very dominant that he wont take to another puppy especially a dog as he will see it as a threat

i have someone in mind for the dog, but i would like 2 dogs for myself but dont want to put riddick out if ya know what i mean

It depends on his nature. Is he just a big softie??

Obviously it will take time for them to get use to each other and they will fight for a while.

I have only ever had cats. We had one for around a year (13 years old) She loved us to bits. Then we got 2 new baby toms 2 years ago and ever since she hate the toms as well as us. Fooking women for ya lol!!

he is all for his mum lol, only takes notice of me when i raise my voice or get the crop out lol, she just has to say NO! and he is so obidient

Riddick may see another dog in your house as 'invading his home' and may become aggresive towards a new dog, to be honest you won't know until you bring another dog into your house.

if you are thinking of having the other dog just let them met up outside you house to get to know each other and as the other dog is only 5 weeks old he will soon find his place .I dont think you have anything to worry about.

I boght my second dog when the first was a year old.

At first the older one was very quiet towards me and my Mrs and she reckond it had changed him

Now however they are the best of mates and are inseperable they just play fight all day.

I say do it its a bit of a long haul but worth it:)

I tell you All two are better than one

It took me months to persuade my Mrs to have a dog as our Jack russel died and she said no more.

But when she was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney i went and bought the first to take her mind off it.

They are like her new kids she absolutly adores them. And this is from someone who doesnt even like dogs LOL.

One is good fun but two is double the fun honest.

They will be fine, keep them in seperate rooms for a few days maybe a wk so they get used to each others sent. Then slowly intergrate them.

Speaking from experiance on this!!

We had a cross old english mastiff before Bacchus who hated small dogs, done the above and they were great.

Before the mastiffs we had Irish wolfhounds waited till the first was a yr old then got a second again using same method, best of pals after that.

it you keep them seprate and introduce them slowly into each others life then they shouldnt be a issues, just dont leave them alone, take a risk.
