One of the first trips i want to arrange for next year is an annual trip to the nurburgring :)

A load of us did this a few years ago and i can honestly say it was one of the best trips i have ever been on :)

Just looking to gauge numbers and dates at the moment and IF we get enough people that want to take this up i will go into it in more details and get prices etc.

I'd love to go! Would depend on time of the year though. My works pretty much gonna wipe out September / October.

Count me in, and a mate of mine with a zed would be too. (not a member YET )

nice one, once we can get say 10+ people then we can start getting costings and dates sorted but i would like spring or summer for the nice weather :)

and the earlier we book the cheaper its gonna be ;)

keep em coming

Mike

a good buddy of mine has organised 4 Nurburgring trips for his Mini forums and all went off without a hitch (near enough anyways) so i would be happy to get some Ideas/ suggestions from him of places to go, stay and see :)

Quick update,

Jeff from zedworld has kindly offered to go along with us with his support van and full tools as a mechanical backup for the trip :)

Its a very kind offer from jeff and i'm sure will put alot of peoples mind at ease with traveling a long way with their old datsons :p

So we have a destination, we have a support vehicle, we just need some more numbers now so come on guys and gals

Mike

WOW Fantastic news!!! That really has put my mind at ease as i was more than a little nervous about doing hundreds of miles in my zed lol.

Great news!!! Come on people, get envolved :D

That really is a great offer by Jeff. I'd certainly consider it depending on the date.

What i hope to do is ask everyone for prefered dates then get it down to 2 or 3 dates then have a vote on it then book the thing :)

I'm going regardless so will come with you guys if the dates work out :)

Yeh why not, the more the merrier bud :)

I was also thinking to keep costs down and if we do it in summer say july/september 1. it gives people plenty of time to save up ;) and 2. do we take tents and camp or go for hotels?

Again open to ideas?

Excellent Thanks, ;)

I`m easy on this one, and would go with the flow, but a cheap hotel and a nice english brekkie in the morning are right up my street. But i wouldn`t say no to camping. :D

Oh excellent! Gives me plenty of time to get saving. You any idea of costings Mike? And i don't expect you to look into your crystal ball if not, just curious lol.

I don't mind camping as it would save wonga, but i'm kinda with Daz if i'm honest, a comfy bed and some brekky sounds nice :)
