Yeah they are not bad, but it involves me having to travel stupid miles.lol.

Now waiting on info on one of these with chance to view tomorrow, intrests me because of the road tax and MOT it has on it. Can also get it down on price;

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1262559.htm

If you can get it down in price yep superb :)

How's the insurance on summit so big tho? Also what kinda mpg will you be getting?

All things to bare in mind.

Also if you get one with a full MOT on it - you will be able to sell it without having to have it done or trying to sell it with a very short MOT

Cant really find much with a long mot.

No sure what mpg i will get on teh mondeo, its a 2litre 16v tho, so probs not the best.

just about to do a quick quote check online.

Searched for some rovers there but i cant find any close to me with decent mot and tax around 500.

Have you looked at Fiat Bravo's and Brava's? They're cheap i think mate and alot have 1.4 engines which is good for MPG, Insurance and Tax.

Worth a look i reckon mate :)

yeah mate tried but everything seems to be in england.lol!!

Found a right nice small mini but would cost me alot more than expected but i would probably keep it to be honest.lol!

I found a fiat before up for grabs.

Everything good is in England :p

Its always worth a bit of a travel for a good car mate :)

There has gotta be summit out there for you mate. Just try and be as patient as possible as necessity never makes for a bargain ;)

they are supposed to be not bad on the pugs but at 115k can never b to sure.

The Pug I had, was 2 1/2 years old and had 116k on the clock when I bought it.

I had it for over 7 years and doubled the milage on it, so I wouldnt worry too much about the 115k

Like robert says, i wouldnt be put off a diesel pug just because its got what seems like a big milage. I bought my 1.9td 406 with 168k miles on it and its still going strong. That was almost two year ago!

what does use think about buying a pug 1.8 with 76k on it with no timing belt change done and needing road tax next month?>

Have you looked at a rover 25 tdi? I have one as my DD, had it

over a year now, hasn't missed a beat. BMW designed engine too.

what does use think about buying a pug 1.8 with 76k on it with no timing belt change done and needing road tax next month?>

I havent had much dealings with the petrol pugs, but would be very wary if it hasent had a belt change, even if it is within the milage its gotta be well out with the time frame for requiring a change

Those cars are not bad, especially the almera i would have taken that.

The pugs are due a belt change at 70k which is a tough tone to call on wether to take the chance on geting one.

Well there some numpty with a civic who doesnt seem intrested in selling atall......so i think i might head upto the car auctions in glasgow which start at 11. Heres hoping the daft kid with the civic can reply before then.......2days ive been chasing him.lol!!

Your zed will be back on the road before you've made your mind up:eek::rofl::rofl:;)
