first of all hi guys, for those who remember me! havnt been on here for years!

 

got a mate who wants me to change their alternator on their zed. its a TT.

 

how hard a job is it, i cant even remember where the bloody thing is and dont have the car in front of me, is it pretty straight forward? or a pain in the arse?

It's at the bottom left if your looking at it from the front, changing it i have no idea, i've always seperated it from the engine when lifting it, as it seemed easier than disconnecting it :-O

seemed pretty easy when i took my engine out as soon as you get it off the mounts you have some play to pull it forward and get to the electrical connections so shouldnt be hard
