LG remote

To those in the know

 

I've lost the remote for my LG TV, I've had a look on ebay and there are alot of remote's that look identical to the one I lost but it says there for oth TV's. Do they all use the same frequency?? Or will I have to find the exact one?

    Hi Mate, I just bought one from e-bay, for my Bush dvd recorder, it was exacly the same shape/buttons but had DAEWOO printed on it, I took a gamble and bought it and it works fine, cant say yours will , but mine works great, hope this helps a little

    It varies.

    You can get pre-programmed ones that contain hundreds of different codes and you (hopefully) find one that works with your TV, or you can get programmable ones that can copy another remote - but you'd need an original one of course to copy.
