As regards 300zx lighting up, you can buy a kit from e bay etc, i'll be going for one in red a little further down the line

 

you got an item number????can't seem to find them..be much appreciated

I dont sorry mate i know Zx-Eyes and Dazvert where on about buying the kit though so maybe see if they got one? as they will see this post

 

They do pop up on there as a full panel sometimes also, but can be a bit costly!

The EL panels work out at around £30 - £40 for the DIY job, but you do have to split the center panel, which can be risky! And the OEM ones tend to sell for around £100+..... and don't let anyone fob you off, OEM ones only EVER were available in GREEN, complete with an anodised inverter box with dark grey foam around it! Anything else is fake!

just had a look at the rear light garnish,,there is a small black box with a black and red wire running to the back of the garnish..however i cnt seem to get it to light up when i put on the lights?????i've had a peek at the back,,and there is some form of electrical connection there,,i remember changing the garanish on my swb as it was cracked and not coming across such??? it was a straight undo the nuts jobs and replace....so is this a neon light rear garnish???and how do i get it to work????your help is much appreciated lads...
