As he says, if I can get someone to look my kids I will be there. The last time we tried this it was cancelled without me knowing so I was the only one who turned up. :o

Are ya gonna make it or are we all in line for another KFC???? :p

Im not too sure if im gonna be able to make it with my zed. If the zed aint there, i'll still be there in my daily driver.

whats up with the zed?

Nothing at all.

the brake pads are wearing a wee bit thin and the rear passenger side hub needs replaced. One of the wheel studs sheered after my mate never tightened the wheel properly!

So to put it lightly, ive got a list the length of my arm that im wanting to do to the zed over the winter. The sooner i get started on it, the sooner she'll be ready.

yeah know what you mean mine needs a service new brake discs and is also missing a wheel stud lol but should manage to get it all at the end of the month

Wheel stud on which hub?

I think when mine comes off the road, it wont be going back on for a fair few months.

front drivers side, mine hardly moves from the drive now lol take it to football thats about it. the wife to be has a car now so just use hers for shopping ect

If I get my head gasket sorted then I'll pop along...which brings me to my next question since I'm in a thread for Scotland - any of you guys used or heard any reports about Cylinder Head Express, Drumoyne Road, Glasgow?

Got a quote of £400 from them to sort my z31, had a search online and only found one report on them, it was on a ford puma forum and they got slated...but the guy that posted that only got them to skim the head and then he did the rest of the work himself, said after he put it back together he was burning a lot of oil - quote below

'cylinder head express they reconditioned a head for me and well it was a shambles! got it back fitted it pt the engine back together started it and it was burning lots of oil. phoned CHD and they said well i never fitted valve stem seals if you'd have bought your gaskets from me i would have fitted them! needless to say i wanted to slap him with a wet kipper!'

Sorry never heard of them but it would be nice to have a Z31 come along so hope you get it sorted.

Not much of a joint meet as no one south of the border appears to be coming, do you think it could be a problem with the location?

I stand corrected, if half turn up it will be the biggest meet I've been at!!!

Naw Naw. Im sure we had 7 turn up one night at Falkirk in 2007. Im pretty sure it was when i'd just bought my shorty.

Only time will tell who will turn up, its always the case that one or two do drop out, which cant be helped. It would be nice if some of the NE guys could attend as well though!

Once those going confirm, we can arrange a meet point to head down together.
