Off road for a bit

Ok, I am taking the Zed off the road for a bit, I want to do some bits to her and have a respray done for the new year. I intend to keep battery in to start her now and again though...is this a good idea any tips for looking after the o'l gal whilst she is not being driven please.....

    dont leave the handbreak on. this will cause the brakes to feel like crap once you put her on road again:).
