As anyone done this if so what happens with reg docs do you send them off as normal, will the new overseas owner recieve the update reg docs.

I've sold a couple of skywhines overseas within the past year, basically you just keep and send off the export section (purple I think) and give them the rest of the document. It sounds crazy I know, but the part you send off tells the DVLA to unregister it from you (and indeed the country) and it is then registered again in the new country with the rest of the form. Customs will often (if not all the time) check the document so they wouldnt be able to take the car into their country without it.
