Hi all, been thinking of getting rid of the fiesta for sometime now but nothing has really got my attention. Always wanted a BMW but never thought i would get one in my price range. Just been looking on autotrader and you can get a BMW 330ci 2001 for about £5k fully loaded! i think thats a bargin for the car you get and 0-60 in 6.3secs. What you all think??

Regards Andy

I had a 2002 330ci sport convertible.....Awesome car and it never let me down, it had 110k on the clock when I got rid and it still drove like new.

Traded it for an RX8, I still miss that car

very nice cars with very smooth engines. on a car of that age i would check out the rear sub-frames for any cracks as some of the older ones (mainly 1999 328ci, and the older e46 coupes) may have had some issues with that

nice fast motors, have a drive of one first though, if they are like the older bmws they ar crap as you seem to sit cockeyed to the steering wheel

It amazing what 5k gets you these days. Im a BMW fan, had a couple of 5 series and a 3 series. In general Bmw's do feel superior to other cars - quality feeling of all the controls that put you in touch with the road - everything from the floorhinged throttle to the perfectly weighted steering.

 Bmw's dont have have a cockeyed seating position. A lot of the smaller french cars do though.

it feels like the pedals are too far left of the steering wheel to me, when you sit in them it feels like you are sitting cockeyed

And i thought it was just me that noticed that, it feels like you cant sit up straight in the seat. Its ok when you get used to it but when you first drive one it feels very strange.
