Crap crap and.. crap haha.

Why?? i have one lol.

Bought it when it first come out.

I have the S2020 paid over £500 and i get lost all the time with it. Don't get me wrong its really well laid out and the instructions are very good.

It will say you are at your destination i'm like wahoo.... ok where am i?

Done that about 4 times now took me about 5 miles away from my destination and these were relatively short journeys imagine if it was a long drive and i was further away. Dont dare trust it.

Speed camera detection is spot on and very good :D very clear, does not detect mobile which hardly any do.

What else?? mmm.... it really lacks features, my step dad has a Road Angle 9000 although it looks ugly it has so many features.

on the snooper you can not store a location, very handy feature on the 9000. go to a meet at a random location save the location. find a nice driving road, save the location. etc. etc.

the points of interest lack, no karting centres and other things are missing.

Tom tom can tell you where shells are on the map, snooper can not.

there are so many more features it lacks i can not think of right now.

It does look slick though.

Isn't there a subscribed one that gives current mobile speed traps as well?

Apparently the 9000 does however i have had this debate many of times with my step dad as he claims his does.

On paper yes it does.

In practice no it does not.

This is how it works, it realies on other 9000 users to imput a mobile speed camera location. So when driving along if a 9000 user is driving along and see a mobile camera they can hit a button which stores it in a database for a few hours.

Why does it not work? well this is only a feature of the 9000 which is the top of the range road angle. How many sat nav devices on the market?? loads!!! and if someone else was to have a road angle the chances of them of having the 9000 is slim as it is well was their flag ship model.

So the chances of another 9000 user going past that camera before you is very very slim.

Why is this such a bad idea also? well my step dad realies on his, he told me and others it catches mobile camera as it states on paper. This is such a bad idea as he and probably other 9000 users depend on it to detect mobile traps which might encourage them to drive faster as they feel comfortable.

You see what im getting at with this.

Think how it works is a very bad idea.

ive had mine over 2 yr now and mainly used in a hgv, never missed a camera with it no matter what it was. As you can guess covered quite alot of miles in the hgv.

I also have the seperate laser attachemt. The unit itself updates every 2 hours via the built in sim.

also it has most speed camera van location warning so all you do is slow to correct speed if theres 1 there your all good, just hit the set live button then everyone else with a 9000 knows.

Well maybe i am wrong then

I just thought that it relies on another 9000 user going along the same stretch of road on the same day within a few hours of your self was very very slim.

Didnt realise you could plug in the laser adapter for it. Thats handy.

Also, recently on fith gear they reviewed the radar jamers/garage door openers. Apparently they work well. I think a laser gun has 3 goes at picking your plate up the gadget blocks the first with a visible warning allowing you to slow down before the second. Well something along those lines. However they are illegal and your only allowed one if you can proove you have a electric garage door or gates.

Mum... can we have a electric garage door?? :D
